3.1 During Purchase (via Gumroad)

3.2 In the Software (100% Local)

The Software stores the following ONLY on your device:

• Master password hash (SHA-256, irreversible)
• API keys (AES-256 encrypted with your master password)
• Trading history (stored in local SQLite database)
• User preferences (language, theme, settings)
• License key (stored locally for validation)

We NEVER upload this data to our servers. It stays on your computer.

3.3 Website Analytics (Optional)

Our website may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand visitor behavior:

• No cookies
• No personal identification
• Aggregated statistics only (page views, countries)

4. What Data We DO NOT Collect

We explicitly do NOT collect:

• ❌ Your trading strategies or signals
• ❌ Your portfolio balances or holdings
• ❌ Your exchange API keys (they never leave your device)
• ❌ Your trading history or transaction details
• ❌ Your IP address (except during website visit)
• ❌ Browsing behavior or tracking cookies

5. How We Use Your Data

5.1 Email Address

• Send your license key after purchase
• Provide customer support when you contact us
• Notify you of critical security updates (optional, you can opt-out)

We will NEVER:

• Send marketing emails without consent
• Sell or share your email with third parties
• Spam you with promotions

5.2 License Key Validation

When you activate the Software, it sends your license key to our validation server to verify:

• License is valid and not revoked
• License tier (Founder/Professional/Enterprise)
• Number of active devices (if limited)

No personal data is transmitted during validation - only the license key itself.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 Gumroad (Payment Processor)

Purchases are processed through Gumroad. They collect:

• Payment information (credit card, PayPal)
• Billing address
• Email address

6.2 Cryptocurrency Exchanges

When you connect your exchange (e.g., Binance):

• Connection is direct from your device to the exchange
• We do NOT act as a proxy or intermediary
• Your API keys are stored locally (encrypted)
• Exchange privacy policies apply

6.3 AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic)

If you use AI features, you must provide your own API keys:

• Requests go directly from your device to AI providers
• We do NOT see or store your AI queries
• AI provider privacy policies apply

7. Data Security

7.1 Local Encryption

• AES-256 encryption for API keys
• SHA-256 hashing for master password (irreversible)
• Database encrypted at rest

7.2 Network Security

• HTTPS for all website communications
• TLS 1.3 for API connections
• No unencrypted data transmission

7.3 Your Responsibility

Security is a shared responsibility:

• Use a strong master password (12+ characters, mixed case, numbers, symbols)
• Enable IP whitelisting on exchange API keys
• Set API permissions to "trading only" (no withdrawals)
• Keep your device secure (antivirus, firewall, updates)

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Request a copy of data we hold about you (email address, license key)

8.2 Rectification

Correct inaccurate data (e.g., update email address)

8.3 Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

Request deletion of your data. Note: We must retain purchase records for 10 years due to German tax law (§147 AO).

CryptoEdge Pro is NOT intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Cryptocurrency trading requires legal adulthood.
